Club Background

The BMW Vintage Car Club of America, Inc. (BMWVCCA) is a non-profit California corporation and a National Historical organization dedicated to the restoration and preservation of BMW Vintage and Classic automobiles manufactured from 1927 through 1965.  These cars are roughly divided into two groups - Vintage cars built from 1927 to 1941, and Classic cars built from 1953 to 1965.

The club has about 130 active members located mostly in North America, with a handful scattered around the globe. We are a tight-knit group and freely share parts and information, and provide support.

A properly restored Vintage or Classic BMW is a feast for the senses and a joy to own. Ultimately, like all BMWs, it is a driving machine, more at home on the open road than in a museum, showroom, or a garage.

Club Objectives

Our mission is to make the experience of owning Vintage and Classic BMWs, or even just admiring them, more fulfilling. We offer our members the opportunity to participate in activities focused on using and enjoying their cars, as well as promoting fellowship among enthusiasts. We share practical and relevant technical and historic information, and through collaboration, help our members restore, maintain, and repair their cars.  We are not here to guard the ashes, but to fan the flames.
